Fly United Airlines! It's okay!

Let’s stick to the facts without even demonizing this passenger who refused to give up his seat from the plane by bringing up his background. If every single one of You read the ticket jacket You will see where United Airlines was being courteous by offering any type of concession to give up their seat in the first place. United Airlines isn’t a metro form of public transportation. They reserve the right. If any of You knew anything about taking trips or flying on the regular You would know that there is no such thing as an overbooked flight that is already boarded. You would also know that airline employees for the most get to fly for free and they fly standby! Standby meaning that if You are an airline employee and You are using your flight benefits to leisurely travel then You are treated like shit by Your own company to accommodate the paying passengers.

On that note airline employees are strongly discouraged to take trips during peak seasons for being stuck at risk of not being able to make it to their destinations or being able to return home to work at their local hub on the next scheduled workday.

United Airlines is a functional airline and it wasn’t corporate greed to book their flights in any manner that they want to. It’s all about making a profit at the end of the day. In order to keep the function going on they had to get their staff to the next flight and they offered some deals that I would’ve taken in order to get Me off of the plane.

So here is where the conviction of selfishness conflicts with so called compassion. Yes, the flight was full (not overbooked) and there were people who by no means were ready to give up their seat. When dealing with a traveling situation which I am a well-traveled Man, every passenger has their story of why they are on that plane in the first place.

I'm sure every passenger had an important story why they wouldn't give up their seat. With that being said I'm sure that if they were in a situation where they needed to fly United again and it's the best choice for the price then they surely would just like they did after seeing a man drug from the plane. I call that in-flight entertainment and this is where I quote Harrison Ford in Air Force One..."GET OFF MY PLANE!"

How many of these people that were so concerned with this Doctor’s well being were willing to give up their seat when they seen the situation escalating? How many people who say that they will never fly again got off of the plane at that moment in time to protest what so called injustice had taken place in front of them? Not a single one but I am sure that they got some good footage from their camera phones and ipads to stir a bruhaha on social and liberal controlled media to attack some corporate giant that not too long ago had our sympathy when it fell victim to a terrorist attack.

Above and beyond our local police departments we all know that the rule of thumb is that You don’t fuck around with airport security. You don’t even joke using the words terror or bomb within forty miles of Your local airport.

So in all legalities the Man was asked to give up his seat. I would bet my left nut that if the flight crew was going to be the one that would make or break the next flight for these people I’m sure that they would have helped the officers kick his uncooperative ass off the plane doctor or not! I also doubt strongly that they would feel sorry for him even if he earned a busted lip in the process. Why? Because people especially travelers are selfish assholes and only show a hint of compassion only when it is convenient! Just like it is now convenient after reaching their destination for the assholes who wouldn’t give up their seat to say that they will never fly again on United because of the way that the man was removed from the plane who wasn’t being cooperative with instruction given to him by authority.

If this makes the ticket pricing for United go down at all then it’s time to take My Girlfriend on a well-deserved vacation.

Let’s just totally neglect the fact that the man was being uncooperative. I’m leaving his background out of it simply because it is not important. The fact of the matter is that he was told to leave the plane and the airline was well within his legalities to boot him from the flight. Yes, he was a paying customer but yet he could’ve easily gotten a refund, booked another flight or just said, “Fuck United Airlines, I’m giving My business to Delta, or American or Continental!”

I'm a Gargantua sized Black corn-fed Country Ox. If those officers came to Me and told Me to get off the plane then I don't think that trying to argue with them would've gotten me less than my feelings hurt and I'm sure that I would've got some strong wattage to accompany a busted lip.

Airport security and airport police are not Mall Cops with flashlights and supplement retirement pensions to live on outside of doing their jobs. They carry more authority than most state constables. If they ask you to get out of your seat and follow them off of the plane then what is to be their next move when you say no? There is no man with a badge, gun or taser that won’t ask You something that they can’t make You do. If there are any questions of what is to become next after refusing the instructions of a law enforcement officer then draw Your conclusions not with a pencil and a piece of paper but by a glance at this picture and the title of My blog...."Setting the Truthful Expectation!"
